Mehdi Ghatee (مهدی قطعی) is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He was born in Shiraz. He entered the Amirkabir University of Technology in 2003. In 2009, he earned his Ph.D. from Amirkabir University of Technology. Now, he is the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Center at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His major is Data Science, Soft Computing, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Network Optimization. He has written more than 130 papers in national and international journals and conferences. He is the Project Manager of the Nation Plan for Intelligent Transportation System Architecture in Iran. Also, he was the project manager at Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Institute for two great projects on transportation and traffic, and also managed Nation Plan for Iranian Intelligent Transportation Systems.
